The Empire "State" of Natural Hair

The natural hair movement is blossoming, and the numbers tell the story! Active Natural Hairstyling licenses have surged 6% in less than a year, jumping from 405 to 428.

This growth is fueled by two key initiatives:

  • Expanded Testing Sites: A second testing site in Troy, NY opened its doors, offering crucial access to licensing opportunities beyond Manhattan.
  • Enhanced Programming: New Natural Hair programming is now available, providing aspiring stylists with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

The momentum doesn't stop there! Later this year, a third testing site will open in Queens, NY, further shattering geographic barriers and empowering more individuals to join the natural haircare community.

More testing sites translate to more licensed professionals, which means better service, wider availability, and more empowered clients rocking their natural hair with confidence.
